Ad Astra (Latin for “to the stars!”) MHK offers a range of services to our clients including ABA Therapy, Caregiver Coaching and Consultation for Professionals. Our team of dedicated professionals delivers expert, evidence-based guidance and interventions with a commitment to compassion and an enthusiasm for our client’s happiness and success!

We recognize some ABA practices have historically been known to use more controlling or forceful approaches. However, our field is now devoted to providing compassionate and trauma-informed care with a focus on building connection and honoring autonomy and assent. We focus on building connection rather than asserting control when a client is emotionally dysregulated.

Our staff has experience working with individuals with Autism, Down Syndrome, ADHD, Cognitive and Developmental Delays and other diagnoses and are passionate about supporting a diverse range of abilities.

Our team is equipped to collaboratively assess and identify needs and values, develop essential skill acquisition goals with a detailed plan for implementation, and provide ongoing support.

We believe strongly in collaboration with other disciplines. Our team utilizes a multidisciplinary, team-based model to provide comprehensive expertise by working collaboratively with other professionals including BCBA's, Speech and Language Pathologists, Occupational Therapists, Physical Therapists, Educators, Psychologists, Therapists, Social Workers and others. We believe the coordination of care is essential to ensure continuity of services and generalization across environments, which results in optimal client outcomes.
